หนุ่มอังกฤษ One Direction พาแฟนๆ ย้อนอดีตในเอ็มวีเพลงใหม่ History ซิงเกิลที่ 3 จากอัลบั้ม Made in the A.M. ที่คลอดออกมาให้แฟนๆ ได้รับฟังกันเมื่อปลายปีที่แล้ว ถัดจากสองซิงเกิลแรกอย่าง Drag Me Down และ Perfect เพลง History โดยงานนี้สองหนุ่ม Liam Payne และ Louis Tomlinson ร่วมมือกับ Wayne Hector, John Ryan, Ed Drewett และ Julian Bunetta เขียนเพลงนี้ขึ้นมา
เอ็มวี History อาจทำให้แฟนๆ 1D น้ำตาตกเพราะความคิดถึงช่วงเวลาเก่าๆ ได้ เพราะได้รวบรวมอดีตของวงสมชื่อเพลงมาเอาไว้ด้วยกันหลายคลิป ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าอดีตนั้นต้องมีหนุ่ม Zayn Malik ที่ตัดสินใจบินเดี่ยวไปแล้วด้วยเต็มไปหมดแน่ๆ ด้านเนื้อเพลงก็พูดถึงอดีตที่เคยมีร่วมกันกับคนหนึ่ง และแม้ปัจจุบันจะไม่ได้ทำอะไรร่วมกันแล้ว แต่ก็เคยสร้างประวัติศาสตร์ร่วมกันมาก่อน
