กริ๊งงงงงงงงง เสียงออดเลิกเรียนดังขึ้น ทำให้เด็กชายสะดุ้งตื่นจากนิทรา มองดูนาฬิกาแล้วอุทานด้วยความดังว่า “ซวยแล้ว” จากนั้นเขารีบเก็บของยัดใส่กระเป๋าอย่างเร่งรีบ
เขามองไปรอบๆห้องพบว่าไม่มีใครหลงเหลืออยู่เลยสักคน พลางมองนาฬิกาพบว่ามัน 17.30 น. มันเลยเวลาเลิกเรียนมานานแล้ว ทำไมไม่มีใครปลุกเขาเลย
เขาเผลอหลับไปเมื่อไหร่ก็ไม่รู้ น่าแปลกทำไมทั้งที่เพิ่งเลิกเรียน แต่ที่นี้กับเงียบราวกับป่าช้า ไม่มีใครเลย ไม่มีแม้เสียงฝีเท้าของใครเลยในโรงเรียนแห่งนี้ ทำไม ทำไมกันเขาครุ่นคิดในใจอย่างสงสัย
ระหว่างทางกลับบ้าน ทุกอย่างเหมือนปกติไม่มีอะไรเปลี่ยนแปลงไปจากทุกวัน นนท์ถอนหายใจ แต่ไม่รู้ทำไมเขาถึงมีความรู้สึกว่ามันผิดปกติ
เขาเดินออกมาจากโรงเรียนระหว่างทางไม่พบใครเลยสักคน ไม่พบสิ่งมีชีวิตใดเลย นอกจากตัวของเขาเองทั้ง เขารีบเร่งเดินกลับบ้าน ต้องรีบ เขาคิดอย่างนั้น
เด็กชายเหนื่อยหอบ เพราะรีบวิ่งจากโรงเรียนมาถึงบ้าน เด็กชายคนนี้เขาชื่อ นนท์ อายุ 14 ปี เป็นคนธรรมดาไม่มีอะไรพิเศษ การเรียนอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ไม่มีอะไรน่าสนใจ
เมื่อเขามาถึงที่บ้าน เขาเปิดประตูเข้าไปอย่างรวดเร็ว “แม่ครับ แม่แม่ แม่อยู่ไหน พ่อครับ พ่อ พ่อ อยู่ไหมครับ” เขาตะโกนด้วยน้ำเสียงร้อนรน ไม่มี ไม่มีใครตอบกลับมา
เขาออกจากบ้าน เคาะตามบ้านต่างๆ ไปในที่ๆน่าจะมีคน ไปทุกๆที่ แต่กลับไม่พบใครเลย หัวใจของเขาเต้นระรัวอย่างไม่เคยเป็นมาก่อน
เขาเริ่ม วิ่ง วิ่ง วิ่งไปเรื่อยๆ อย่างไร้จุดหมาย ขอเพียงแต่เจอใครสักคน ใครก็ได้ แค่เพียงสักคนไม่ว่าใครทั้งนั้น
เขาเหนื่อย เหนื่อยเหลือเกิน เขาหมดแรงแล้ว ไม่เหลือแรงแม้จะก้าวขาเพียงสักข้าง เขาทิ้งตัวนั่งลง เขาเริ่มหิว เขายังไม่ได้กินอาหารเย็นเลย ทุกคนไปไหน หายไปไหน ไปไหนกันหมด
กลิ่น เขาได้กลิ่นอาหาร ตอนนี้เขาหิวมาก ตอนนี้เขาเริ่มมีแรงอีกครั้ง เขาเดินตามตามกลิ่นนั้นไป พลางคิดว่า ต้องมีคน ใช่ต้องมีคนอยู่ที่นั้น
เขาเดินตามไปเรื่อยๆ หัวใจของเขาเต้นรัวอีกครั้ง ต้องเจอคนแน่ๆ เขาเริ่มเห็นแสงไฟ เริ่มได้ยินเสียงพูดคุย ใช่แล้ว เขาเจอแล้ว
เขามองไปรอบๆ เห็นเพื่อนที่โรงเรียน เห็นคนแถวบ้าน เห็นพ่อแม่ มีทั้งคนที่เขารู้จักและไม่รู้จักอีกมากมาย เหมือนมีงานเลี้ยงสังสรรค์
เขาหัวเราะให้กับตัวเอง เขาสบายใจแล้วและไม่คิดที่จะร่วมงานเลี้ยงในครั้งนี้ด้วยเขาเหนื่อย อยากกลับบ้านแล้วนอนมากๆ
เขาเดินกลับบ้านอย่างช้าๆ ไม่มีอะไรต้องห่วงแล้ว เพียงแต่น้อยใจเล็กๆว่าจังงานเลี้ยงทำไมไม่มีใครบอกเขาสักคน ปล่อยให้เขาเป็นห่วง
ระหว่างทางเขาบังเอิญไปเห็นชาย 2 คน แต่งตัวแปลกๆท่าทางเหมือนมาสำรวจอะไรสักอย่าง ปิดหน้าปิดตา ท่าทางหน้าสงสัย เมื่อคิดอย่างจึงเข้าไปใกล้ๆเพื่อแอบฟังว่าพูดอะไรกัน
“โชคร้ายมากๆไม่น่าเลย”ชายคนหนึ่งพูด“โรคร้ายดันระบาดมาถึงนี่ตายกันหมดไม่มีใครรอด” “รีบๆออกจากเมืองนี้เหอะเดี๋ยวก็ได้ตายตามคนในเมืองไปหรอก”ชายอีกพูดพลางรีบเดินจากไป
นนท์ได้ยินคำพูดจากชายทั้งสอง ‘เมืองนี้ เมืองนี้เหรอ ไม่จริงน่าทุกคนยังอยู่ ยังมีชีวิตอยู่ ใช่เรามีชีวิตอยู่ พวกนั้นเข้าใจผิดแล้ว ทุกคนยังอยู่ที่นั่นอยู่เลย มันเป็นแค่เรื่องเข้าใจผิด...ใช่ไหม’ เขาทรุดตัวลงนั่ง อย่างหมดอาลัย
“ฉันรอดอยู่คนเดียวอย่างนั้นน่ะหรอ”อยู่ๆเขาก็พูดออกมา “ที่นี้มัน มันเป็น สุสาน...” เขาพูดกับตัวเองอย่างตกใจ “ตายแล้ว ตายแล้วงั้นเหรอ ไม่จริงไม่จริงน่า”
ใช่แล้ว ทุกคนในเมืองนี้ไม่มีใครซักคนที่เหลือรอดโรคร้ายที่เข้ามาระบาดโดยไม่มีใครคาดคิด ทุกคนจากไปอย่างไม่ทันตั้งตัว ไม่ทางรักษา ไม่มีทางแก้ ทุกคนจากไปอย่างไม่มีทางหวนกลับ
แล้วชายแปลกหน้าทั้งสองก็ได้เดินผ่านร่างนนท์ไปเหมือนเขาเป็นเพียงอากาศ...!!!!!!

I'm jingle. School bell sound louder. The boy is startled from slumber. I watch it with the exclamation that "the challenge" and then he quickly stuffed the pocket of some urgency.
He glanced around the room that no one left to love. Continue to watch it at school at 17.30 pm It was a long time. Why not wake him.
He falls asleep when you do not know. I just wonder why the school. But this silence does not even sound like a cemetery, no one who won it in a school of thought in mind, this is why he is in doubt.
On the way back home. Everything is as usual, nothing changed from the day I'm sighing, but why he felt that it was wrong.
He walked out of school, the way people do not see anyone. Did not find any living thing. In addition to himself, either. He hurriedly returned home, he must think so.
Boys pant I rushed home from school. Boy I'm 14 years old, his name is plain, nothing special. The school level. Nothing interesting.

He was away from home. Knocking on door. In which it has been everywhere but could not find anyone. His heart beat rapidly beating like never before.
He began to run run run indefinitely. Without a destination. I just met someone, anyone, not just someone who is good.
He was tired, so tired. I was exhausted. I will not even move my leg forward. He left him hungry, he sat down to dinner do not eat it all go away I go out.
He can smell the aroma of food. He was now very hungry. Now he was there again. He followed the scent is to continue to think that there must be someone there.
He went on and so forth. His heart beat pulsing again. People need it. He began to see light. Yes, he was heard talking to me.
He looked around to see friends at school. I see people I see parents who are both known and unknown to many. Like having a party.
He laughed to himself. He was uneasy, and not to share this time with his party here. Want to go home and sleep a lot.
He walked slowly back home. Nothing to worry about it. Only seen a small party that's why no one told him a man. Let him worry.
The way they happen to see 2 men dress funny I like to explore something off the blindfold I doubt this. When I think of something closer to what I listen to that speech.
"Unfortunately, many do not," one man said, "disease pressure, the outbreak came here to die out, no one survived", "I leave this town I see the death of someone in the know" men's talk tome. I walked away.
I'm hearing from the two men 'in this city I do not really know anyone yet. Still alive. Yes, we are alive. They were wrong then. Everyone is there for me. It is just wrong ... like he just fell down. Be discouraged.
"I was alone, that's it," he would say it is "that it is the tomb ..." he said to himself was "dead, dead like me. It does not really do it. "
Yes, everyone in this town without someone who survived the disease outbreak was not unexpected. Everyone from time to treat is not the way to solve all the way back.

ring... the bell rings to let us know that the period is done , the boy wake up frightened then he take a look at the clock and shout out loud " shit!"
he quickly puts all his stuffs in his school bag , he looks around his classroom
and realize that everybody is gone , while looking at his clock he finds out it's already 5.30 pm , it's been awhile since the class is finished but on one woke him up.
he doesn't know when he did fall asleep , it's kind of weird how class is just finished but it's pretty quite here , nobody is in the school and he doesn't even
hear anyone's footstep , he wonders why it is .
on his way home everything seems to be as normal as everyday is . Non sigh , he has a feeling that something is unnaturally .
he walks away from the school and he doesn't see anyone or any organism
ิำbut his own self . he is hurrying up and thinks that he should be home as soon
as he can .

he run away from his house knocking on neighborhood doors where he may find someone in there , he's knocking on the doors everywhere but he can't find anybody . his heart never been beating this fast before
so he starts to run aimlessly just one wish to see someone there , just some one , no matters who.
he's getting tired and he has no more energy to run , not even for just one step
forward . he sits down on footpath and his stomach begins to get hurt , he didn't have any dinner . he has no idea where everyone is
at that moment he smells some food , he's very hungry right now and he's getting his energy back , he follows that smell while thinking that there is
gonna be somebody in there , his heart beats fast again .
He sees the light and he hear some kingd of people talking , yes ,
he finally found it . he looks around seeing his schoolmates , his neighbors
, his parents and people that he knows and people that he doesn't know
. like they're having a party right there
he laughs and is happy . he won't join the party this time because he's kind of
tired and he want to go home and just go to his bed
he slowly walk home , right now he has nothing to be worried about.
