after shooting Chucky, Andy (Alex Vincent) brings it to the trash that night. He then gets attacked by Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) who puts drugs and kidnaps him. She then picks up Chucky's corpse and puts Andy in the trunk. They drive away and stop in a warehouse, where Tiffany brings Chucky back to life. Chucky then stabs Andy multiple times, then slicing his throat. Tiffany leaves, Chucky saying he wants to find the others.

A day later, Kyle (Christine Elise) hears about Andy's death and grieves. The girl she's taking care of, Alice (Summer Howell) walks in and asks what's wrong. Kyle doesn't want to talk about it and tells her to get to school. Kyle sees the teenage girl nextdoor, Claire (Diana Agron) walking to the high school. Claire meets with her boyfriend, Brad (Max Thieriot) who asks about if she heard about the dead guy. They just meet up with their friends.

The friends meet later on in their after school club, but when they try to leave, the doors are all locked and phones have no signal. James (Ansel Elgort) and Karla (Amber Heard) go look for a way out. Karla finds Chucky and James looks at it. Chucky comes to life in her arms and cuts her arm. The two run to find the others, but Karla is tackled down and stabbed in the neck.

James finds the others, telling them Karla was killed. They are all separated when Chucky attacks and kills Maddie (Liz Gillies). Ryan (Darren Criss), Claire and Brad head to the woodshop. They all hide and Chucky comes up from behind Brad with a nail gun. He shoots it into his head five times. Claire screams and Ryan brings her out of the shop. Kyle runs to the door as Claire and Ryan try to get out. Kyle sees Chucky and tells them to hide.

Sandra (Brenda Song) James, Lauren (Hayden Panettierre) and Danni (Danielle Panabaker) hide in Chemistry and hide.  Chucky sneaks up to Lauren and cuts her arm, but she fights back with a scalpul. She runs out, James following. Sandra is close behind, when Chucky throws a jar of acid at her. Her skin is melted as she screams. Danni kicks the doll and runs down the hall.

Kyle and Alice are outside the school, trying to open the doors. Kyle breaks one door open and they get in. Claire, Ryan, Danni, James and Lauren find them and head for the door, when chucky tackles Danni and stabs her in the back. The group then run to the library and hide, avoiding the doll. They all find their way out, but James in knocked out when Chucky hits him with a baseball bat.

James is then tied up and thrown into a janitors closet. Meanwhile, the group are in the gym when they hear the door open. Lauren runs to it, thinking it's James, when she sees it's Chucky with a drill. He sticks the drill into her knee, then her stomach and throat. He then stabs it into her eye. Kyle kicks the doll.

Ryan runs to find James and hears him kicking in the janitors closet. He gets him out and they both run for the others. Ryan is then shot down and James sees Tiffany. He begs her not to kill him and she shoots his leg. Kyle and Claire run out to see Tiffany. Chucky laughs as they have them cornered.

Alice exits through another door and is behind Tiffany with a knife. She stabs Tiffany in the back, allowing everyone to get James and run. Kyle grabs her lighter and lights Chucky on fire. She then leads everyone back to her house.

Alice, Claire and James are led by Kyle to the living room, where they try to stop the bleeding in James' leg. Claire and Kyle try to reach the police, but their lines are filled. Alice sees the window opened, followed by a chared trail. She sees a burnt Chucky standing over the unconsious James and knocks him off. Kyle and Claire run in as Chucky falls.

Claire is then lit on fire when Chucky throws Kyle's Lighter at her. Alice, horrified, grabs a knife and stabs Chucky multiple times. Kyle then shoots him through the head twice.

Two weeks later, Kyle, Alice and James are at the graveyard, paying their respects. A white van drives up and at drivers seat is Tiffany. She looks to the passenger seat. Chucky, in a new doll, smiles, Planning another revenge.

Alice and Kyle are playing hide and seek later. Alice is in the closet, when she hears a laugh, like a child. "Hi, I'm Chucky, wanna play?" Alice then screams as Chucky gets up and edges to her. Kyle tries to open the door but fails to do it in time.
