After meeting with doctors, nurses and officials from hospitals on both sides of the river, I am determined to do my part, by taking up the challenge on 22-October to swim across the Mekong River, from Nakorn Panom to Thakaek (Laos PDR) and back, a total distance of 15 kilometers, to raise funds for much-needed medical equipment and supplies as well as raising awareness of the importance of this magnificent waterway. 🇹🇭🇱🇦 Until 22-October, I will be focusing on training my body and spirit for this endeavor.
