My poker goal for 2025 is to "have fun and rekindle my passion for poker". It's easy to set such goals, but achieving them is a different story.

After a string of 9 tournaments last year, I found myself losing enjoyment in making the right decisions only to be thwarted by my opponents' unlikely wins. The constant bad beats eroded my enthusiasm, and self-doubt crept in, causing me to despise the game I once loved.

However, I refused to become a miserable loser who blames everything but themselves. So, in 2025, I'm rebuilding myself, piece by piece, by studying the game, grinding, and smiling even in defeat.

I smile knowing I'm a better player today than I was yesterday, and I smile because I get to play this beautiful game with fellow enthusiasts.
