I’ve had the chance to visit Japan several times, but this is my first time in Ibaraki……and I’m so excited! It feels like discovering a whole new side of Japan, filled with nature, culture, and warm-hearted people. I’ve heard that the local food here is amazing……from fresh seafood to unique regional dishes you can’t find anywhere else……and I can’t wait to try them all.

One of the places that truly impressed me is Hitachi Seaside Park, which I visited this October. The vast landscape was painted bright red with Kochia bushes covering the hills……it felt like walking through a living painting. In other months, the scenery changes completely; for example, in May, the park turns into a dreamy sea of blue Nemophila flowers. It’s a place I’d love to return to again, no matter the season. 🌿✨
