‘Toey’ Jarinporn Joonkiat (@toeyjarinporn) has spent nearly two decades in Thai entertainment – long enough to know that everyone has their own timing. Known for a career that has stretched across film, television, Netflix originals, and advocacy, Toey has allowed each chapter of her life to unfold with patience rather than force. Along the way, she has adopted an elephant named Kwan Mueng, built a house in Khao Yai, and carved out a life that feels grounded away from the noise.

As our April cover star, she sat down with us at @artifact_bar in Hong Kong to talk about finding stillness in nature and why she has no interest in forcing life into somebody else’s timeline. In a month marked by Earth Day, there could be no more fitting cover star.
