How did they do it? HOW?? This was my favourite concert I’ve ever been to. And yes, I’ve been to Beyoncé.
It’s been a month and I’m still not over it.
Every year, @farafarose and the team gather some of the most talented, creative, brilliant, and delightfully peculiar humans to give us the year’s most awaited edutainment. Formal subjects expressed in ways you can only fall in love with. Is it too late to switch fields? :p Mai ka!
This year’s theme, #HumansofScience, ดึงดูด me สุด ๆ already.
We discovered how antimicrobial resistance is one of humanity’s greatest challenges, and how to beautifully unravel DNA togerther (Aj. P @shinny_pimlapas ), biodiversity isn’t just wonder and great sex stories... it’s our medicine cabinet. No biodiversity, no us. (Aj. P @win.biologist ), computational thinking can help us navigate almost any situation life throws our way – call for unlimited questions (Aj. P @nonginsomnia ), and geography is really poetry and history with maps if we’re awake enough to notice and explore (Aj. P @mikeyposs ).
But what moved me most wasn’t what they taught.
It was why.
Again and again, I found myself in tears hearing why they dedicated their lives to what they do. Meaning isn’t reserved for a few. We find it. And honestly, we must. What’s the point otherwise? Shan’t be aimless cells floating through existence. Every cell has a purpose. At least in a healthy body 😉
And just when I thought already wow... #ProjectParadiso happened. The divas @tonthanasit @jew_debut15 @krugreen_nitiwat transformed each lecture into original songs. Knowledge into melody tee love mak! Their voices, their performance, my word. Very on point for Thai edutainment. This can’t be missed.
One month later, I’m still blown away. Bravo.
P.S. Wild that I got to be part of it, even if just for a short teaser. Thank you, thank you, thank you. To have been surrounded (and hope to continue to) by humans who make you lean forward in your chair, alongside my partner-in-crime @tonyon__ ... lucky me 💙
