Nap, Chanattha Saisila, is one of the figures who helped ignite the Emo movement among Thai youth in the early 2000s. From the side-swept hair and plaid shirts to his powerful, unmistakable screams, his look and sound became an iconic image of the era. He was also behind one of Thailand’s most legendary music memes, the story of his younger sister undergoing vocal cord surgery to sing in his place, giving rise to the name “Siriprapa,” a character that people still remember to this day.

As the former frontman of one of the era’s most prominent bands, Nap left his mark with a voice that became instantly recognizable to a generation of listeners. Years later, that unmistakable identity remains just as strong, with both longtime fans and a new generation continuing to embrace Nap for exactly who he is.
