It’s the Energy.

It’s not something you see. It’s something you feel..when it’s right, you don’t even have to try.

Everything flows.

That’s exactly what happened to me at @thestandardhuahin

I had no idea this place has been open for years?! I walked in and was like… wait, what? It feels brand new.

Fresh. Fun. Alive. Like it just opened last week.

And then I realized… it’s the people!

My first connection to The Standard was through @maypawee .. She’s my cycling instructor and literally has the best energy ever.

Turns out she’s now doing marketing at Soho House in @thestandard and I remember thinking… yup, this makes sense..They hire people who get it. Who bring energy, not just experience.

Then I got to meet @nathaliecockayne the GM that @victorkmchan my partner in crime introduced me to…We had a long chat and she was just so open and bubbly…. But it’s not just her… it’s the whole team. Every single staff here was Alive!!

Couldn’t find slippers so I walk barefoot here most of the time and I love it!!

And the bathroom…
It’s HUGE. Like unnecessarily huge.
But I love it. Already dreaming of doing a private ice bath session in the BIG shower!

I know they’re doing sound healing and cold therapy stuff already they’re ahead of the game in HuaHin. So looking forward to more deep wellness activations that we can do here.. oh..
Then there was sweet ‘Princess’ at reception… She makes you smile even when you’re not in the mood to smile.. yes.

Btw.. standard is now part of Hyatt.. so points people!!

Thank you Victor for organizing this stay during our first ever trip together! 😜 We made it to 4 days and we still love each other! What a milestone. Time flew by even when Victor’s sunblock exploded all over his ass.. he didn’t even notice cus we were in the flow.. i took a pic for all to see but will post here without his permission. I’m sure he will be happy to see it.
