Changing your body takes longer than most people expect.
We see the highlight reels online, but what you don’t see are the months (or years) of showing up, building strength, improving fitness, recovering well, and making small decisions every single day.
One thing I wish more people focused on is performance.
Can you lift a little heavier? Run a little further?
Recover faster? Your form improving?
Those are signs that your body is adapting, even if the mirror hasn’t caught up yet.
And none of this happens without proper nutrition.
You can’t expect your body to perform, recover, and change if you’re constantly under-fueling or following a diet that doesn’t fit your life.
Nutrition isn’t just about eating less. It’s about eating enough to support your training, while making sure your intake aligns with your goal, whether that’s fat loss, building muscle, or simply feeling better, and doing it in a way that’s realistic for your lifestyle.
Be patient with the process. Focus on getting stronger, fueling your body well, and staying consistent.
The results will come. 😊
