Dearest Sam,
Thank you for the good times. And thank you for the bad times too, as I will always remember my 18-year-old self speaking to you about how to get my career back after signing a horrible contract. You helped me out of it and helped rebuild my career.

Even after I had moved on, you still wished me well.

I choose to hold on to the good times. When they were good, they were really good, my friend.

You were not only a manager to me, but someone who truly believed me.

The angels have gained quite a character among them, one who was outspoken and different from most. Perhaps that’s where we were similar.

I’m kind of lost for words, but all I can say is… thank you for your time, Sam.

May you rest in laughter, humor, and everything you enjoyed doing.
