It feels like such a coincidence that exactly six years ago today was the day I underwent brainstem surgery.

You know, there was a time when I almost gave up on life.

If I had given up back then, I would never have known what incredible things life still had in store for me.

I really want to thank you.

You didn’t just give me the opportunity to be a part of your film. What you’ve given me over these past three years has meant so much more than that.

I’m truly grateful for this opportunity, and for everything that came with it.

You gave my life a purpose.

At first, that purpose was simple. I wanted to learn how to play football because I thought that if I could play, maybe I would have a chance to be in your film.

But once I started learning and training, I fell more and more in love with football. Somewhere along the way, it became so much more than just something I was doing for a movie.

And now I can honestly say that football changed my life.

Football taught me so many things. One of the most important things it taught me is that there are no shortcuts. If you want to get better, you have to put in the work.

I’m actually a little sad that from now on, I won’t have an excuse to spend almost all of my time playing football like I have for the past few years. 😂

Whenever people asked me, “Why do you want to get so good at football?” I would always say, “Because I want to be in a Stephen Chow movie!” 😂

But there is one thing I know for sure.

From now on, whenever I start doubting myself or questioning what I’m capable of, I’ll think back to everything I did just to give myself a chance to be in your film

And I’ll remember that I’m capable of more than I think

If I truly commit myself to something and keep working at it, I know I can learn, grow, and become better!

That is something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life

You made a girl who once wanted to give up on life want to live again!

From now on, I’ll keep fighting💪🏻

The fire you lit in me is burning now❤️‍🔥
