She went out in the 2011 floods to help people. She came back with a life’s work.

Fourteen years later, Kae (@kaechollada) leads The Voice Foundation (@thevoicefoundation), a Thai animal welfare foundation that rescues, treats and rehomes more than a thousand animals at a time. It also helped carry 60,000 signatures to Parliament for Thailand’s first Animal Cruelty Prevention Act. Behind that are the shelters, the vet bills, the wheelchairs, and the long, unglamorous work of keeping it all going.
