ตอนทำ @eecthailand ตอนแรก เป้าหมายคือการพัฒนาของประเทศไทย ไม่เคยคิดว่าจะได้ทำระดับภูมิภาคแบบนี้

พวกเราได้รับเกียรติจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ซึ่งร่วมกับ ASEAN และมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในการการจัดโปรแกรม สำหรับ young leaders จาก 11 ประเทศในภูมิภาค ASEAN

กระบวนการเรียนรู้ครั้งนี้ได้ถูกออกแบบให้เหล่าผู้นำได้เข้าใจถึงการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนในหลายๆมิติ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเอกชน ภาครัฐ หรือคนท้องถิ่น และก็เอางานกลุ่มจากสิ่งที่เรียนกัน มาขมวดเพื่อนำเสนอนโยบายในการพัฒนาของภูมิภาคอาเซียน รวมถึงเอาความรู้ที่ได้ไปต่อยอดในประเทศของตนเอง

รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติและภูมิใจมากๆๆ กับการมีส่วนร่วมครั้งนี้ ขอบคุณผู้ใหญ่ทุกท่านที่เห็นว่าเราสามารถจะทำโปรเจคที่มีเป้าหมายยิ่งใหญ่ขนาดนี้ ขอให้เราได้ร่วมอีกนะครับ :)

When we started EEC, our goal was simply to contribute to Thailand’s development, we never imagined we would one day be working at a regional level like this.

We were honored to be entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with ASEAN and Mahidol University, to help deliver a program for young leaders from 11 countries across the ASEAN region.

This learning journey was designed to help these young leaders understand sustainable development from multiple perspectives; private sector, government, and local communities. They then worked together to turn what they learned into group projects and propose policy ideas for the future development of ASEAN, as well as bring this knowledge back to create impact in their own countries.

I feel incredibly honored and proud to have been part of this initiative. Thank you to all the leaders and partners who believed we could take on a project with such an important mission. We hope to have the opportunity to collaborate again in the future:)

ได้พานักเรียน @eecthailand และผู้ปกครองไปเรียนรู้เรื่อง “นกกระเรียนพันธุ์ไทย” และความพยายามของชุมชนที่ช่วยให้นกชนิดนี้กลับคืนมาอีกครั้ง ผ่านงานวิจัย การดูแลระยะยาว และความร่วมมือของคนในพื้นที่

ได้ไปสำรวจพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำ ไปยังเถียงนา เรียนรู้เกษตรที่เป็นมิตรต่อธรรมชาติ ชิมอาหารท้องถิ่น และออกไปดูนกกับชุมชนในพื้นที่จริง เป็นประสบการณ์ที่เรียบง่ายแต่มีความหมายมากสำหรับทุกคน

เป็นค่ายที่เต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่นและการเรียนรู้จากธรรมชาติ ขอบคุณผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ชุมชน ที่ต้อนรับและทำให้เราเห็นว่าคนกับธรรมชาติเติบโตไปด้วยกันได้ พร้อมชวนให้เราคิดต่อว่าเราจะช่วยกันปกป้องธรรมชาติเอาไว้อย่างไรบ้าง

We brought students and parents to learn about the Sarus crane and the community effort that helped bring this once-extinct species back through research, long-term care, and strong local collaboration.

Together, we explored wetlands, stepped into rice fields, learned about eco-friendly farming, tasted local food, and observed birds with local villagers. It was a simple experience, but deeply meaningful for everyone.

A small but warm and meaningful trip that showed us how people and nature can grow together. Thank you to the community for welcoming us and inspiring us to think about how we can help protect the natural world.

Thailand joined the world in celebrating United Nations Day and the @unitednations 80th anniversary at Siam Paragon. It was a get together with UN representatives and agencies along with government and private sectors to come together and reaffirm our commitment to sustainability.

As we look after our “planet” we must not leave any “people” behind, “peace” and “prosperity” is what we all look for and it is not possible without “partnerships” which is why we all got together today.

Thank you to our UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand, Michaela Friberg-Storey for hosting us all, thank you the @unep team for inviting me. It was an honor to be part of this event to celebrate and further commit to the work we all do with our hearts ❤️

The 9th Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation (APAN) Forum wrapped up with an impactful closing ceremony and a strong call to action for transformational climate adaptation. Organized by @UNEPasia_pacific, the forum was held on October 3, 2025, at the UNCC in Bangkok, Thailand. 🇹🇭

The ceremony began with a surprise performance from @UNEP Goodwill Ambassadors @AntoinetteTaus and @AlexRendell, joined by UNFCCC Director of Adaptation, Dr. Youssef Nassef.

Global leaders reaffirmed that transformational adaptation goes beyond adjusting to climate change; it is about redefining development pathways to ensure adaptation that is just, inclusive, and deeply transformative through inclusive governance, equitable finance, community leadership, and systemic collaboration.

During the ceremony, Antoinette also paid tribute to Dr. Jane Goodall (@janegoodallinst), honoring her life of service to the Earth and all living beings, inspiring everyone to continue her legacy of hope, empathy, and action for our planet. 🌏

@PlanetCORA is honored to have been among the 850 participants from more than 50 countries who came together to exchange ideas, share lessons, and strengthen collaboration toward a more resilient future. This experience further strengthens CORA’s commitment to turning words into action, empowering communities, and advancing systemic approaches for lasting climate resilience. 🌳

เมื่อเราปิดฉาก Thailand 1st Climate Action Week ผมอยากจะบอกว่านี่คือการเคลื่อนไหวที่ผมเชื่อว่าคนทำงานในสายนี้หลาย ๆ คนคงใฝ่ฝันอยากให้เกิดขึ้นจริง ผมได้มีโอกาสพูดคุยกับคุณเลโอเมื่อเกือบหนึ่งปีก่อนเกี่ยวกับโมเดลนี้ พยายามทำความเข้าใจว่าวิสัยทัศน์คืออะไร ผมจะสามารถมีส่วนร่วมตรงไหนได้บ้าง และหนึ่งในคำถามที่ผมถามคือ “แล้วใครจะเป็นหัวหน้าของงานนี้? ใครเป็นเจ้าของ?” ผมยังจำคำตอบของเขาได้ว่า “noone owns it, everyone involved owns it, it collectively owned” และด้วยแนวคิดแบบนั้น ผมจึงรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างมากที่ได้รับเชิญให้เข้าร่วมใน Steering Committee (SC)

ในฐานะที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ SC ผมสามารถบอกได้เลยว่าจำนวนคนที่เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมมันมหาศาลจริง ๆ จากทุกภาคส่วน ทั้งนักอนุรักษ์ นักเล่าเรื่อง ศิลปิน สถาบันการศึกษา นักวิทยาศาสตร์ ผู้ขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลง ผู้นำศาสนา และแน่นอนด้วยการสนับสนุนจากท่านผู้ว่าฯ ชัชชาติ

สัปดาห์นี้ไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายเลยสำหรับผู้จัดงาน เกือบ 200 กิจกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นรอบกรุงเทพฯ ในเวลาเพียง 1 สัปดาห์ มันน่าทึ่งมากที่ได้เห็นทุกคนทำในแบบของตัวเอง จากใจจริง เเละทำเพราะอยากเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเคลื่อนไหว และจากพิธีปิดเมื่อวานนี้ สิ่งเหล่านี้ได้ถูกรวมสรุปออกมาเป็นนโยบายที่จะถูกนำเสนอในระดับโลก เพื่อสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่แท้จริงบนเวทีโลก

นี่คือสัปดาห์ที่เต็มไปด้วยหัวใจ จิตวิญญาณ ความรัก และความห่วงใยอย่างแท้จริง พร้อมด้วยความหวังว่าเราจะสามารถก้าวไปข้างหน้าและสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงได้จริง ด้วยวิธีการที่เป็นบวกและในบรรยากาศที่คล้ายเทศกาล ไม่มีการโทษ ไม่มีการตัดสิน ทุกคนทำในแบบที่ตัวเองอยากทำ และผมรักสิ่งนี้มาก

ขอขอบคุณเลโอและทีม ผมหวังว่าพวกคุณจะมีความสุข คุณทำงานได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยมจริง ๆ โดยเฉพาะเมื่อมองถึงอุปสรรคและความท้าทาย ขอบคุณอาจารย์บริพัตรที่รวมทุกคนไว้ด้วยกัน และทุกคนที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง พวกเราทำสิ่งนี้ด้วยกันจริง ๆ ดังที่ท่านผู้ว่าฯ ได้กล่าวไว้อย่างน่านับถือว่า “this is a movement for the people”. ❤️

Today, the 9th Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum concluded with a powerful Closing Session at the UN Conference Centre in Bangkok.

From inspiring musical performance by UN Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassadors Antoinette Taus and Alex Rendell, to insightful reflections from system leads across food, ecosystems, infrastructure, and health—this session brought together the heart and substance of the week-long Forum.
