  • โอซาไน (โย โออิสึมิ) ได้สูญเสียภรรยาและลูกสาวจากอุบัติเหตุ วันหนึ่ง อากิฮิโกะ (เรน เมกุโระ) ชายปริศนาได้เดินทางมาหาโอซาไน แล้วบอกว่าในวันที่เกิดอุบัติเหตุ รุริ (คาซูมิ อาริมูระ) ลูกสาวของโอซาไนกำลังเดินทางมาหาเขา เขาไม่ได้รู้จักกับลูกสาวของโอซาไนแต่เขาเคยมีคนรักที่ชื่อรุริเหมือนกัน เรื่องราวความรักสองเรื่องที่ดูไม่เกี่ยวข้องกันกลับผูกโยงด้วยปาฏิหารย์แห่งความรัก

  • Tsuyoshi Osanai (Yo Oizumi) enjoys a peaceful and happy life with his wife Kozue Osanai (Kou Shibasaki) and daughter Ruri Osanai, but his wife and daughter die in an accident. Tsuyoshi Osanai's life suddenly changes. One day, a man named Akihiko Misumi (Ren Meguro) visits Tsuyoshi Osanai. Akihiko Misumi tells him that on the day Kozue Osanai and Ruri Osanai died, Ruri Osanai, who was a complete stranger to him, was coming to see him. Akihiko Misumi tells him about a woman named Ruri Masaki (Kasumi Arimura), who he once loved. These people, who don't seem related, connect under the name of love.
