Fujino (Natsuki Deguchi) lives in a snowbound rural town. She is a popular student in her class and confident in her talent to draw manga. Inspired by Kyomoto (Aju Makita), who is in the same grade as Fujino at the same school, Fujino becomes increasingly immersed in creating manga.

Meanwhile Kyomoto also draws comics and she is a huge fan of Fujino's manga work. But, unlike Fujino, Kyomoto is a hikikomori and has shut herself away from the world. She focuses solely on her art. Brought together by their single-minded passion for manga, Fujino and Kyomoto pursue their dreams together.
