- ตัวละคร โซโร ถูกสร้างขึ้นครั้งแรกในปี 1919 ในนิยายของ จอห์นสตัน แม็คคัลลีย์ เรื่อง The Curse of Capistrano
- คำว่า โซโร ในภาษาสเปน แปลว่า สุนัขจิ้งจอก
- เรื่องนี้ได้รับการตั้งชื่อไว้หลายชื่อ แรกเริ่ม คือ The Mask Of Zorro 2 แล้วเปลี่ยนเป็น Zorro Unmasked, Zorro 2, The Return Of Zorro ก่อนที่จะสรุปเป็น The Legend Of Zorro
- เรื่องราวในภาคนี้ คือ เหตุการณ์อีกหนึ่งทศวรรษให้หลังจากบทสรุปแห่งการผจญภัยในภาคแรก
- การหานักแสดงหนุ่มน้อยมารับบท วาคิน ลูกชายของโซโร ต้องอาศัยการค้นหาตั้งแต่ลอสแอนเจลิส ไมอามี่ นิวยอร์ก ไปถึงลอนดอน สเปน และ เม็กซิโก แม้จะเริ่มต้นถ่ายกันแล้วก็ยังตัดสินใจไม่ได้ระหว่างเด็ก 2 คน คือนักแสดงที่มีความสามารถมากๆ จากอเมริกาคนหนึ่ง และอีกคน คือ เอเดรียน อลองโซ่
- ขณะทำการคัดเลือกนักแสดง เอเดรียน อลองโซ่ หนุ่มน้อยชาวเม็กซิกัน มีอายุ 10 ขวบ เคยแสดงภาพยนตร์มาก่อนหน้านี้แค่ 2 เรื่อง
- เอเดรียน อลองโซ่ พูดอังกฤษไม่ได้เลยสักคำ เขาเรียนรู้บทสนทนาด้วยการจำเสียงพูด โดยมี ทีน่า เฟรนช์ เป็นผู้สอนบทพูดให้
- บ็อบบี้ ล็อฟเกรน หัวหน้าครูฝึกม้า เริ่มทำงานล่วงหน้ามากกว่า 1 ปี ก่อนที่เรื่องนี้จะเปิดกล้อง โดยส่วนหนึ่งจะต้องสอนให้ม้าอิงตัวและเอาขาไขว้กัน ซึ่งไม่ใช่ท่าทางที่เป็นธรรมชาติของม้า
- เรื่องนี้ใช้ม้า 40 ตัว ลา 15 ตัว กา 29 ตัว หมู 15 ตัว และไก่อีก 50 ตัว
- ถึงเรื่องราวของ The Legend of Zorro จะเกิดขึ้นในแคลิฟอร์เนีย แต่ภาพยนตร์ถูกถ่ายทำตลอดทั้งเรื่องใน ซาน หลุยส์ โปโตซี ใน เม็กซิโก เพราะเป็นหนทางเดียวที่จะจำลองแคลิฟอร์เนียในสมัยศตวรรษที่ 19 ออกมาได้ใกล้เคียงที่สุด

- The Clock - In the year of 1940, the song Gloomy Sunday was known as the suicide song as many suicides recorded were related to it. Listening to this song has led to a French lady committing suicide as well after the death of her boyfriend, a clock engineer at that time. Her soul was not at peace and it returned with the purpose of fulfilling the desires of other victims of depression. Cheata, a girl living with her father and stepmother after her biological mother, Chanda, left the family, is suffering from depression. Every day she suffers mental and physical abuses from her stepmother. Together with her longing for her true mother, this had led Cheata to slip deeper and deeper into depression. Holding on to her mother's photo and listening to her mother's lullaby every night does little to heal her heartache and depression.
