A Propos De Sarajevo is the story of an 8-year-old jazz festival in Sarajevo, initiated and nurtured during the last four years of the brutal siege of the city. The documentary features European and African bands and jazz musicians who play for Sarajevo, and Sarajevo plays for them.

Edin Zubcevic, director of the jazz festival, takes the viewer through a mesmerizing journey of discovery and memory. This poetic film unites narrative lines which together make up an ode to Sarajevo and its inhabitants. There are the issues of Life and Death, Joy and Pain, all issues which are dominant in music, but so familiar in this city filled with the intense emotions of war.
