The Fox family is an unusual circus family of 4 mythological foxes that have been transformed temporarily into humans. The fox family, a father (Joo Hyeon), his lovely eldest daughter (Park Si-yeon) 'the man-seducer', his clumsy son (Ha Jeong-woo) and and youngest daughter (Ko Joo-yeon) who has more interest in eating dogmeat want to turn into full humans forever.

To do so, they must each eat a human liver during the alignment of the moon and the sun--which only happens once every thousand years. Luckily for them that moment is about to happen soon.

In the meantime a grizzly murder, with all the clues pointing in the direction of the Fox Family brings the attention of a detective (Park Cheol-min). The Fox family, off course concerned with their important day, want to be left alone to prepare for that joyous occasion.

But in the meantime receive a visit from a unexpected visitor (Park Joon-gyoo) who is trying to hide in their circus tent from the mob. As he finds out they have plans for his liver, he decides to help them out finding the other humans in order to extend his life.
