ชีวิตของนักฆ่านิรนามคนหนึ่งถึงทางแยกเมื่อเดินทางมาปฏิบัติภารกิจที่ประเทศไทย โจ (นิโคลัส เคจ) มือปืนเลือดเย็นจากอเมริกาเดินทางมาที่กรุงเทพฯ เพื่อกำจัดเป้าหมาย 4 ราย ตามใบสั่งของ สุรัต (นิรัตติศัย กัลย์จาฤก) ผู้มีอิทธิพลสุดเหี้ยม
เขาจ้าง ก้อง (ชาคริต แย้มนาม) นักเลงข้างถนนมาเป็นเด็กส่งสาร และช่วยปกปิดตัวตนที่แท้จริงของเขา โดยวางแผนฆ่าก้องหลังจากเสร็จงาน แต่แล้วมือปืนรักสันโดษอย่างโจ กลับยอมเป็นอาจารย์สอนวิชาการต่อสู้ให้ก้อง และยังเปิดใจหลงรักสาวใบ้แสนสวยชาวไทยชื่อ ฝน (หยางไฉ่นี)
เมื่อโจถลำลึกสู่โลกใต้ดินที่เต็มไปด้วยแสงสีของกรุงเทพฯ เขาก็เริ่มตั้งคำถามกับชีวิตอันโดดเดี่ยวของตัวเอง และเริ่มทลายกำแพงที่ก่อไว้ลง ทว่ามันเป็นเวลาเดียวกับที่สุรัตเตรียมจะเก็บเขาเพื่อปิดปาก
The life of an anonymous assassin takes an unexpected turn when he travels to Thailand to complete a series of contract killings. Joe (Nicolas Cage), a remorseless hitman, is in Bangkok to execute four enemies of a ruthless crime boss named Surat (Nirattisai Kaljareuk).
He hires Kong (Shahkrit Yamnarm), a street punk and pickpocket, to run errands for him with the intention of covering his tracks by killing him at the end of the assignment. Strangely, Joe, the ultimate lone wolf, instead finds himself mentoring the young man while simultaneously being drawn into a tentative romance with a local shop girl Fon (Charlie Yeung).
As he falls further under the sway of Bangkok's intoxicating beauty, Joe begins to question his isolated existence and let down his guard ...just as Surat decides it's time to clean house.

- The Clock - In the year of 1940, the song Gloomy Sunday was known as the suicide song as many suicides recorded were related to it. Listening to this song has led to a French lady committing suicide as well after the death of her boyfriend, a clock engineer at that time. Her soul was not at peace and it returned with the purpose of fulfilling the desires of other victims of depression. Cheata, a girl living with her father and stepmother after her biological mother, Chanda, left the family, is suffering from depression. Every day she suffers mental and physical abuses from her stepmother. Together with her longing for her true mother, this had led Cheata to slip deeper and deeper into depression. Holding on to her mother's photo and listening to her mother's lullaby every night does little to heal her heartache and depression.
