The animated sequel returns audiences to Antarctica, reuniting us with the world's most famous tap-dancing penguin, Mumble (Elijah Wood) emperor penguin with the love of his life, Gloria ('Pink' or Alecia Moore). Now have a son of their own, young Erik (Ava Acres) who is struggling to find his own particular talents in the Emperor Penguin world.

Nevertheless, Erik hasn't got rhythm, you see, an embarrassment for the son of the local lord of the dance. Running away with a couple of friends as they chase after Mumble's buddy Ramon (Robin Williams) on the return to his own penguin colony, Erik meets the amazing "flying penguin" Sven (Hank Azaria), whose can-do attitude makes him the idol of the youngster, to Mumble's detriment.

However, things get worse for Mumble when the world is shaken by powerful forces, causing him to bring together the penguin nations and their allies to set things right. To save them, they're going to working--and dancing-- together.
