ซัสฮิล คูมาร (ชาฮิด คาปูร์) นาตี (ชัฎฎา คาปูร์) และ ทริพาตี (ดาเวียนดู ชาร์มา) เป็นเพื่อนในวัยเด็ก ซัสฮิล เป็นคนหน้าซื่อใจคด ทนายเห็นแก่ตัวที่หารายได้จากการตกลงกันนอกศาล นาตี เป็นนักออกแบบเสื้อผ้าชั้นนำที่คิดว่าตัวเองสูงส่ง
ทุกอย่างผ่านไปปกติดีจน ทริพาตี เปิดโรงพิมพ์เล็กๆ ในเมือง เพียงไม่กี่เดือนเขาถูกเรียกเก็บค่าไฟฟ้า 150,000 รูปี (หรือประมาณ 66,000 บาท) และเพิ่มเป็น 5,400,000 รูปี (หรือประมาณ 3.6 ล้านบาท) ในเดือนถัดมา โดยไม่มีทางที่จะต่อรองหรือร้องเรียนได้เลย ทริพาตี ตัดสินใจฆ่าตัวตาย จากเหตุการณ์ครั้งนี้ ซัสฮิล มาช่วยดูแลและกลับตัวเป็นคนละคน เขาตัดสินใจจะสู้กับบริษัทผู้ผลิตและจำหน่ายไฟฟ้า ผู้ที่ต้องการรับผิดชอบต่อบิลค่าไฟฟ้าที่เกินจริง แม้ว่าเขาจะยังไม่แน่ใจว่าเขาจะสามารถฟ้องบริษัทนี้ได้หรือไม่ก็ตาม
S.K (Shahid Kapoor), Nauti (Shraddha Kapoor), and Tripathi (Divyendu Sharma) are childhood friends. S.K is a hypocrite, mean lawyer making money from out of court settlements. Nauti is an over the top fashion designer who thinks highly of herself.
Things were breezy until Tripathi opens a small town Printing Press. Within months, he is charged with an Inflated elctricity bill of 1.5 Lakhs, which escalates to 54 Lakhs in the following months. With no where to go and complain, Tripathi commits suicide. S.K is set aback by the events and has a change of heart. He decides to fight out against SPTL , a Privatised Electricity Company responsible for the Inflated Bills. Whether or not he is able to sue the company forms the rest of the story.

- The Clock - In the year of 1940, the song Gloomy Sunday was known as the suicide song as many suicides recorded were related to it. Listening to this song has led to a French lady committing suicide as well after the death of her boyfriend, a clock engineer at that time. Her soul was not at peace and it returned with the purpose of fulfilling the desires of other victims of depression. Cheata, a girl living with her father and stepmother after her biological mother, Chanda, left the family, is suffering from depression. Every day she suffers mental and physical abuses from her stepmother. Together with her longing for her true mother, this had led Cheata to slip deeper and deeper into depression. Holding on to her mother's photo and listening to her mother's lullaby every night does little to heal her heartache and depression.
