  • เรื่องราวของ ไซโตะ ฮิโตมิ (ริโฮ โยชิโอกะ) สาวแกร่งที่ได้รับมอบหมายให้อยู่ในทีมสร้างอนิเมะเรื่องแรกของเธอในฐานะผู้กำกับ เธอต้องต่อสู้กับอุปสรรคต่างๆ ในวงการแอนิเมชั่นร่วมกับเพื่อนร่วมงานเพื่อสร้างภาพยนตร์ที่สุดยอดตามที่เธอตั้งใจไว้ และต้องรับมือกับสารพัดปัญหาต่างๆ ที่ถาโถมเข้าใส่อย่างไม่หยุดยั้ง แม้แต่ในวินาทีสุดท้าย ในขณะเดียวกัน อูจิ ชิฮารุ (โทโมยะ นากามูระ) ยอดผู้กำกับขั้นเทพแห่งวงการอีก 1 คนที่เคยสร้างภาพยนตร์ยอดนิยมมาก่อนแถมยังเป็นเสมือนเป็นแรงบันดาลใจของฮิโตมิก่อนที่เธอจะเข้าวงการ ได้จับมือกับโปรดิวเซอร์มือทอง อาริชินะ คายาโกะ (มาชิโกะ โอโนะ) เพื่อร่วมกันสร้างภาพยนตร์อนิเมชั่นเรื่องใหม่ในรอบ 8 ปีของเขา และเหมือนชะตาฟ้าลิขิต ให้ภาพยนตร์ของทั้ง 2 คน มีกำหนดเข้าฉายในวันเดียวกัน ใครจะเป็นผู้ได้รับฉายาสุดยอดแห่งวงการอนิเมไปครอบครอง

  • Set within the highly competitive animation industry. People in that field work hard to receive the title of "haken," which is given to the most popular animation. Hitomi Saito (Riho Yoshioka) works on her first anime as a director. She struggles along with her colleagues to make the animation film, while dealing with various difficulties. Meanwhile, Chiharu Oji (Tomoya Nakamura) is an animation director and has made hit movies in his past. He teams up with Producer Kayako Arishina (Machiko Ono) to make his first animation film in 8 years. Hitomi Saito and Chiharu Oji now direct films that are set for release on the same date. Who will get the title of haken?

  • The Clock - In the year of 1940, the song Gloomy Sunday was known as the suicide song as many suicides recorded were related to it. Listening to this song has led to a French lady committing suicide as well after the death of her boyfriend, a clock engineer at that time. Her soul was not at peace and it returned with the purpose of fulfilling the desires of other victims of depression. Cheata, a girl living with her father and stepmother after her biological mother, Chanda, left the family, is suffering from depression. Every day she suffers mental and physical abuses from her stepmother. Together with her longing for her true mother, this had led Cheata to slip deeper and deeper into depression. Holding on to her mother's photo and listening to her mother's lullaby every night does little to heal her heartache and depression.
