Happiest lady in the world today 💓
Back at @boxfitcnx for my first lower body glute weight training session since my 👠 injury on 18th September.
The past 3 weeks of recovery and strengthening the area included onsen, walking, faster-paced treadmill walks, swimming, yoga, incline stairs, bodyweight exercises and resistance band training, all around and at home in my home gym.
I’ve been feeling so great, and today I decided to try a couple of my usual exercises, starting with bodyweight and moving on to light weights if everything felt okay 🙌🏼
Started with bodyweight hip thrusts and RDLs, filming myself to check my form after the break. Then moved on to using the 20 kg barbell with no extra weights for both exercises, 3 sets × 15 reps each.
No pain or tightness around the injured area 🤍 Next 24–48 hours will be monitoring any post-workout symptoms. Happy results! 🕺🏼✨
