March ends, which means the first quarter of 2026 has passed. This quarter is one of the greatest in my life, 100% — my life has changed so much. But in this post, I just want to recap some little lessons I’ve learned this quarter.

One of the biggest changes and new things I started to do after New Year is writing a journal every day, after I didn’t write for soooo long. And in every journal I write, I started to add an important part, which is the “gratitude” part.

I write something I’m grateful for and thankful for each day in that part. And what I found is I started to “notice” more good things in my life. I feel happy more easily with little things.

Like… a beautiful sunset I see when I drive back home, the quality moments when I have deep talks with my dad, moments when I read the positive messages my followers post on X that my mom always sends me, the moments I have fun with my friends, or even just being grateful for my legs that let me walk, run, and play the sports I love, and my eyes that let me read the books I like — because so many people don’t have what we haveee. All of these moments, I keep in my gratitude diary.

And what comes after is I started taking pictures of these moments, filming them, and feeling them. It’s not just about capturing them, but about noticing them moreeeee.

And the biggest lesson I learned from this quarter is simple: good things are always around us — we just need to notice them.

Maybe it starts with one small thing a day. Like just writing or taking a picture of something.
