เรื่องราวของ มาร์ก (ปิแอร์ นิเนย์) ผู้กำกับหนังที่ชีวิตและหน้าที่การงานกำลังพังไม่เป็นท่า เขาตัดสินใจพาทีมงานไปถ่ายหนังในหมู่บ้านชนบทเล็กๆ แห่งหนึ่งซึ่ง เดอนีส (ฟรองซวส เลอบรูน) ป้าของเขาอาศัยอยู่ และที่นั่นเอง มาร์กก็ได้หวนกลับไปรื้อฟื้นความคิดสร้างสรรค์ที่เขาเคยมีสมัยยังเด็ก จนช่วยให้ไฟนักสู้กลับคืนมาอีกครั้ง และเมื่อความคิดดีดีกระฉูดแบบฉุดไม่อยู่ มาร์กได้เขียนคัมภีร์เล่มหนึ่งซึ่งเขาเรียกมันว่า คัมภีร์แห่งคำตอบ ที่จะช่วยแก้ไขปัญหาได้สารพัดอย่าง
