จิมมี่ บอน (เหลียงเจียฮุย) นักแสดงตลกชื่อดังที่เชี่ยวชาญกับงานแสดงในบทซุปเปอร์ฮีโร่ ยอดมนุษย์แต่ในชีวิตจริงแล้วเขากลับเป็นคนที่ตาขาวมากๆ และด้วยเหตุผลเดียวกันนี้เองที่เป็นข้ออ้างให้ภรรยาของเขา แมนดี้ ตัดสินใจขอหย่า และทิ้งลูกสาวทั้ง 2 ไปเพื่อตามหาความฝันที่จะได้เป็นนักแสดงสาวคนใหม่ของฮอลลีวู้ด แต่ไม่นานเธอก็กลับมาฮ่องกงอีกครั้งเพื่อถ่ายภาพยนตร์กับจิมมี่

ในขณะที่อีกด้านหนึ่งนายตำรวจ ทิทแมน (เฉินเสี่ยวชุน) ได้ติดตาม ดร. ดอนโน นักวิทยาศาสตร์สติแตกมายังที่ซ่อนของริวอิจิ อาชญากรที่รัฐบาลจีนและกรมตำรวจต้องการมากที่สุด ซึ่งเป็นที่สร้างอาวุธชีวภาพที่มีอานุภาพทำลายล้างสูงอย่างไวรัสซาร์ส และโชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกกับจิมมี่อีกครั้ง เมื่อเขาต้องผ่านมาเจอกับ ริวอิจิ ถึงเวลาแล้วที่เขาต้องยืนหยัดต่อสู้กับเหล่าร้ายและเป็นฮีโร่ในชีวิตจริง

Janet and Teet Nam are two Interpol who are outraged that they lose a terrorist Lung Yut during a chase in Thailand. At this time they receive information from headquarter about Lung planning to receive a biological threat in Hong Kong.

Teet Nam follows Lung's follower Donno to a virus experiment bath house that disguises itself as a high class sauna. Teet Nam follows them into a secret passage and discovers that Lung already has two kinds of viruses, "super pneumonia" and "intelligence regression virus", to prepare to blackmail the world with.

Teet Nam fights Lung to get the super pneumonia virus but is infected with the intelligence regression virus as his intelligence drops to a four year old's. In the chaos he escapes to Jim's home. Janet loses contact with Teet Nam and goes undercover as a masseuse at the sauna to investigate but is captured.

Later with the help of Donno's son she escapes to Jim's home. Lung follows, cannot find the virus and takes away everyone to force Jim to hand over the virus.
