  • ผุ้ชนะการแข่งขันนักแม่นปืนหลายสมัยอย่าง เคน (อู๋เอี้ยนจู่) บังเอิญมาพบการปล้นรถ ซึ่งตำรวจนายหนึ่งถูกคนร้ายจับไว้เป็นตัวประกัน เคนจึงตัดสินใจยิงคนร้ายจนเสียชีวิตไป 4 ราย และมีอีก 1 รายหนีรอดไปได้ ส่วนตำรวจที่ถูกจับเป็นตัวประกันนั้นรอดชีวิตมาได้

    หลังจากนั้น คดีนี้ตกไปอยู่ในมือของนายตำรวจที่ชื่อ เจอร์รี ชาง (กู่เทียนเล่อ) ผู้ซึ่งเคนเพิ่งจะแพ้ในการแข่งขันยิงปืนมาหมาดๆ นำไปสู่ผลการตัดสินในชั้นศาลว่าเคนไม่มีความผิด แต่หลังจากนั้น เคนถูก แปงเถา (ตู้เหวินเจ๋อ) โจรที่หนีรอดไปได้คนนั้นตามไล่ล่าทำร้าย

    การเผชิญหน้านี้ค่อยๆ เผยให้เห็นเรื่องราวพื้นหลังที่แอบซ่อนอยู่ ค่อยๆ เผยให้เห็นคำโกหกและกับดัก การเผชิญหน้าครั้งนี้ยังทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนเปลี่ยนไป ขณะที่เจอร์รีและเคนพยายามอย่างยิ่งยวดที่จะเอาชนะกันและกันด้วยสติปัญญา

  • Champion competitive marksman Ken (Daniel Wu) comes across an armored van robbery. He sees a policeman held hostage and shoots and kills four of the robbers. One of the robbers escapes and the policeman survives.

    The case is handled by Jerry Chang (Louis Koo), whom Ken knows from having recently beaten him in a shooting match. Ken is found not guilty in court. Soon after, Ken is attacked by the escaped robber Pang Tao (Chapman To).

    Their confrontation reveals a very different background story and brings about a myriad of lies and traps and changes in relationships as Jerry and Ken try to outsmart each other.

  • The Clock - In the year of 1940, the song Gloomy Sunday was known as the suicide song as many suicides recorded were related to it. Listening to this song has led to a French lady committing suicide as well after the death of her boyfriend, a clock engineer at that time. Her soul was not at peace and it returned with the purpose of fulfilling the desires of other victims of depression. Cheata, a girl living with her father and stepmother after her biological mother, Chanda, left the family, is suffering from depression. Every day she suffers mental and physical abuses from her stepmother. Together with her longing for her true mother, this had led Cheata to slip deeper and deeper into depression.
