In a neighborhood of Mumbai resides a colony of magicians, puppeteers, fire-eaters and other artistes. Among them is Aja, who as a child, possesses an exceptional talent. He is a 'fakir', who can float, swallow sabers and he is equipped with an array of tricks, which he mastered to perfection. He also performed miraculous healings. But when his mother gives him a plane ticket to Paris and instructs him to carry out a mysterious job, he is completely upset as he has never left his little neighborhood before.
