ใครคิดว่าการเป็นเด็กนั้นง่ายแสนง่าย เชิญคิดใหม่ หรือไม่ ก็ลองดูชีวิตของเด็กชายบิลลีเป็นตัวอย่าง แต่เดิม บิลลี่ (ลุก เบนเวิร์ด) ก็มีความสุขดีตามอัตภาพ จนกระทั่งวันหนึ่ง พ่อแม่ของเขาจู่ๆ ก็พาเขาย้ายบ้านไปอยู่อีกเมืองหนึ่ง แล้วจับเขาโยนเข้าโรงเรียนใหม่ และนับแต่นั้นเป็นต้นมา ชีวิตของบิลลี่ก็เต็มไปด้วยความวุ่นวายจนหัวน้อยๆ ของเขาพาลจะระเบิดเสียให้ได้
การเป็นหน้าใหม่ในโรงเรียนใหม่ ทำให้บิลลี่ตกเป็นเป้าหมายอันโอชะของกลุ่มเด็กนิสัยไม่ดี ซึ่งมี โจ (อดัม ฮิกส์) เป็นผู้นำ โจมีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในการกลั่นแกล้งบิลลี่อยู่เสมอ และทุกครั้งก็ไม่มีเพื่อนนักเรียนคนไหนยื่นมือช่วยเหลือบิลลี่ เพราะนอกจากพวกเขาจะยำเกรงในความนิสัยไม่ดีของโจแล้ว ทุกคนต่างก็หมั่นไส้เจ้าเด็กใหม่อย่างบิลลี่เป็นทุนเดิมอยู่แล้วด้วย
วันหนึ่งความอดทนของบิลลี่ก็เดินทางมาถึงจุดสิ้นสุด โจเอาหนอนน่าเกลียดมาแกล้งบิลลี่ในระหว่างพักกลางวัน บิลลี่ปาหนอนใส่หน้าโจกลับ โจแค้นสุดขีด จึงหยิบยื่นคำท้าแก่บิลลี่ให้กินหนอน 10 ตัว แน่นอน งานนี้เป็นข้อเสนอที่บิลลี่ไม่อาจปฏิเสธ แต่สิ่งที่เด็กชายคาดไม่ถึง คือ โจกับลูกสมุนได้ตระเตรียมสารพัดอาหารหนอนไว้รอท่าเขาไว้แล้วเสร็จสรรพ ทั้งหนอนตุ๋น ซุปหนอน หนอนย่าง ฯลฯ สารพัดเมนูหนอนที่แค่เห็นก็ทำเอาบิลลี่ขาอ่อนแล้ว

Listening to this song has led to a French lady committing suicide as well after the death of her boyfriend, a clock engineer at that time.
