Ex-model and addict Kym (Anne Hathaway) returns home from rehab to join her extended family before her sister, Rachel (Rosemarie DeWitt), is getting married to Sidney (Tunde Adebimpe), a musician.

But Kym is a black sheep who's not afraid to say whatever's on her mind. She brings a long history of personal crisis and family conflict along with her. The long-standing family tensions rises to the surface. Will Kym derail events, or bring everyone closer together?
