บีทีเอส ครองศิลปินแห่งปีบนเวที MAMA ประจำปี 2017
งานประกาศผลงานรางวัลทางดนตรี "เอ็มเน็ต เอเชียน มิวสิก อวอร์ดส์" (Mnet Asian Music Awards หรือ MAMA) ซึ่งมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อรวบรวมแฟนเพลงและศิลปินที่มีวัฒนธรรมที่ต่างกันมาไว้บนเวทีเดียวกัน โดยปีนี้จัดขึ้นในวันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน 2560 ที่เวียดนาม วันที่ 29 พฤศจิกายน 2560 ที่ญี่ปุ่น วันที่ 30 พฤศจิกายน 2560 และวันที่ 1 ธันวาคม 2560 ที่ฮ่องกง
นับเป็นปีทองของ "บีทีเอส" (BTS) หรือ "บังทันบอยส์" (Bangtan Boys) ที่มีโอกาสเผยแพร่ผลงานเพลงของตัวเองในระดับสากล ทั้งยังได้ไปออกรายการทอล์กโชว์ต่างๆ ในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา เมื่อกลับมาเวทีนี้ก็โกยไปได้อีก 3 รางวัล ด้าน "เอ็กซ์โซ" (EXO) ก็ไม่น้อยหน้าคว้า 3 รางวัลเช่นกัน ส่วนวงหญิงล้วนอย่าง "ทไวซ์" (Twice) ก็เฉิดฉายในงานประกาศผลรางวัลนี้อีกครั้ง โดย บีทีเอส เอ็กซ์โซ ทไวซ์ ได้รับรางวัลศิลปินยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี อัลบัมยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี และเพลงยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี ตามลำดับ ได้อย่างเป๊ะปังเหมือนปีที่ผ่านมา
