ผลรางวัล People's Choice Awards ครั้งที่ 28

ในปีนี้ People's Choice Awards ซึ่งเป็นรางวัลทางด้านภาพยนตร์ โทรทัศน์ เพลง รวมกันทั้งสิ้น 18 สาขา ได้ประกาศผลแล้วที่ Pasadena Civic Auditorium

รางวัลนี้ตัดสินโดยการทำแบบสำรวจทั่วประเทศสหรัฐ โดย Gallup Poll Organization นอกจากนี้ ยังสามารถร่วมโหวตออนไลน์ได้ 2 สาขา ได้แก่ สาขา Favorite new television comedy และFavorite new television drama

ทอม แฮงค์ ดาราขวัญใจชาวไทยและต่างประเทศก็คว้าไปได้ 2 รางวัลจากงานนี้ ได้แก่ Favorite actor awards for motion picture และ dramatic motion picture เฉือนผู้ท้าชิงอย่าง เดนเซล วอชิงตัน ไปได้

ส่วนผู้ที่ได้รับรางวัล Favorite motion picture actress award ได้แก่ จูเลีย โรเบิร์ตส์ เจ้าแม่รางวัลนี้ เพราะกวาดรางวัลไปแล้วถึง 8 ครั้ง

นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นปีที่ 9 ที่ ER ได้รางวัล Favorite TV drama และเป็นปีที่ 12 ที่ การ์ธ บรู้ค ได้รางวัล Favorite male musical performer
