ผลรางวัล แพ็กซัง อาร์ตส์ อวอร์ดส์ ครั้งที่ 53
รางวัล "แพ็กซัง อาร์ตส์ อวอร์ดส์" (Baeksang Arts Awards) เพื่อฉลองความยอดเยี่ยมในวงการภาพยนตร์และโทรทัศน์ของเกาหลี วนกลับอีกเป็นครั้งที่ 53 เมื่อวันที่ 3 พฤษภาคม 2560 โดยรางวัลแดซังที่เป็นรางวัลยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของงาน ด้านละครนั้น "คิมอึนซุก" (Kim Eun Sook) ผู้เขียนบทจาก "Goblin" เป็นผู้ครองรางวัล ขณะที่ฟากภาพยนตร์ตกเป็นของผู้กำกับ "ปาร์กชานวุก" (Park Chan Wook) จาก "The Handmaiden" ผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์คนเก่งจึงขอใช้โอกาสนี้เปิดใจเมื่อเรื่องราวของผู้หญิงสองคนที่รักกันได้รางวัลว่า "ผมหวังจะอยู่อาศัยในสังคมที่ไม่มีใครถูกเลือกปฏิบัติ เพราะเพศ รสนิยมทางเพศ และตัวตนของพวกเขาครับ"
ภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยมในปีนี้ ได้แก่ "The Wailing" ภาพยนตร์แนวลึกลับแฟนตาซี ที่ชี้ชวนให้คนดูสงสัยว่าแท้จริงแล้วใครคือปีศาจ ขณะที่รางวัลผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยมจากฝีมือของ "คิมจีวูน" (Kim Ji Woon) และนักแสดงนำชายยอดเยี่ยมโดย "ซงคังโฮ" (Song Kang Ho) มาจากภาพยนตร์ชาตินิยมเรื่อง "The Age of Shadows" ด้านภาพยนตร์สยองขวัญลุ้นระทึก "Train to Busan" ส่งให้ "ยอนซังโฮ" (Yeon Sang Ho) รับรางวัลผู้กำกับหน้าใหม่ และคนมีของอย่าง "คิมอึยซอง" (Kim Eui Sung) คว้านักแสดงสมทบชายยอดเยี่ยมไปได้
